I started reading the manga, Antique Bakery, by Yoshinaga Fumi after I saw this gif of a scene from the Korean live-action. I suppose you can call it a happy accident or fate but I'm glad that I found this series today. :)
The basic plot of this manga is about four guys running a small bakery. However, the story is much much more deeper than just that. The owner of the store is Tachibana Keisuke (Keiichiro) who is from a wealthy background. The chef, Ono Yusuke, is a world-class patissier but he is also known as the "devilish homosexual" who can make any guy he fancies ultimately fall for him. Then there is Kanda Eiji who used to be a pro-boxer and is now working as an apprentice at the shop. Lastly, Chikage is a childhood friend of Tachibana and you can always see him wearing his sunnies.

The Korean Live-Action Movie that I shall be watching soon :) |
There is an anime, a Japanese drama, and a Korean movie adapted from this wonderful manga. I think I'll watch the Korean live action first because it is based closely to the manga itself. Unlike the Japanese drama that took out the homosexuality theme from the story to appease its audience :S But I'll still watch it eventually for the delicious desserts! :P
Another reason is probably because of the eye-candy actors in this Korean movie including Joo Ji Hoon who played Lee Shin in Goong (Princess Hours) and also Kim Jae Wook from Coffee Prince. :D such impure motives to watch this movie ahaha
The opening for the anime is so adorable! I love the song too :)
